Sounds like you need to set the MIDI to keyboard out. Try setting the
display to English. Turn the unit on pressing the L and R buttons together.
Press Yes once to select the CTRL SHEET, then press R to set it to English
(L would set it to Japanese)
On this model, the L and R buttons are the last two buttons on the top row
on the right. The Midi button is under the R button. Press the Midi button
to set Kybrd Out.
Who knows if this will work. I am just guessing that a model made for Japan
will come up in English.
