FOR SALE disklavier Mark III

2002-05-26 by Dr. Rob Burton - Spine Centre

Hi there:
FOR SALE
I have a brand new (purchased in August 2001) Mark III DC2 5'8" Royal Conservatory Grand Piano Diskalvier - black high gloss ebony, for sale.
Retail $42,000.00 Canadian. Bought for CAN $32,000.00. Will sell for $26,000.00 CAN. I can arrange shipping as I live in Eastern Canada on shipping route, or help with transportation options to USA.
$26,000 Can = approximately $16,000 US
LIKE NEW. I will ALSO include approximately $2000.00 worth of software.
Tough call to sell. Its such a beautiful piece of equipment as you know. I recently moved and the piano would no fit through the entrance of a downstairs apartment, and I could do with the money.
Let me know.

Subject: [disklavier] Upgrade to Mark III

Hi,

I am a new member in this group. I still do not own a Disklavier, but
I am really eager to purchase one (upright)...!
I am especially interested in the "CD" capabilities of the new Mark
III series. Unfortunately, in my country (Italy) neither the upright
Mark III models nor the DCD1 set are available at the moment.
Therefore, I am thinking to buy a MPX1Z (Mark II XG), upgrading it
subsequently to Mark III, as soon as the DCD1 set will be available.
Now, my question is....
Will the DCD1 set allow me to fully enable the features of the
upright Mark III series? Or will there be some limitations (as I
understood reading some of the previous posts..)?

Thanks in advance

Giovanni
