[disklavier] Mac Utility Uploaded

2000-01-02 by Mike McGregor

I uploaded (into the utility folder on the vault) a freeware MIDI
typing file utility for the Macintosh that has been helpful in
re-establishing the MIDI file type so that programs will be able to
recognize them as MIDI. Often the file type bits become corrupted in
some way during download.

When I drag a file over my sequencer program icon and it does not
change color, I know I have a file type problem and drop it into
MIDI-It as a preliminary step.

I would be interested in identifying the Mac users in our group. I
know Harry Kelly is one. Any others?

Hello, I am a new disklavier owner - my husband surprised me
for Christmas. i would love to be able to download music, but
unsure how to proceed. I am using an Imac - read your old
message regarding the mac. (I think it was from 2 years ago).
Any syggestions would be appreciated.

I use both Mac and PC for processing MIDI and ESEQ files. Lately I
have been using the PC mostly, because dkvutils works only on
Windows.
