Because everybody's computer, midi player and operating
system is different, I can only tell you what works on mine. Having
said that, here are a couple of suggestions. I hope this works for
you.
If you are able to hear the midi file play, that means it
has downloaded to your Temporary Internet file. Go to C:\Windows\Temporary
Internet Files, left click on the Type file, scroll down to the Midi Sequence
files and see if you find the file you want. Then copy and paste it where
you want to keep it.
Or go to Start/Find/Files or Folders, click the Advanced tab,
click the down arrow to the right of the "of type" box and choose Midi Sequence
in the drop down menu, click the Date tab, choose Find All Files, choose
Created, choose During the Previous, choose 1 Day, click Find Now. You
should see a list of one or more midi files. Right click on the midi file
you want in the Name column, then copy and paste the file where you want
to keep it.

My player is NOT right clickable. Any ideas on
what the problem might be?

Here's how it works on my PC: left click on the dot
to the left of the
song; a new window with a player appears; right click
on the player; a menu
appears; choose "save as"; a "save as" window
appears; either accept the
file name or type in other file name with
".mid" extension; choose "save in"
destination for the midi file; click
OK. Admittedly cumbersome and, of
course, it may not work that way
on your computer.
