[disklavier] Disklavier repair in the UK

2000-01-15 by Daryl Barber

Hi,

The disk drive on my MX100A Disklavier has a serious fault and needs
attention. I live in the UK and obviously can't contact any old piano
shop to get a repair for such specialist equipment! Does anybody know
who I should contact for such a repair here in the UK?

Many thanks,

Daryl

Daryl,

Chapell of Bond Street in London has been reading and responding to
items on the Disklavier User Group newsgroup, which I recommend you
join for expert answers to questions about Disklavier maintenance.
This Disklavier E-group is more concerned with identifying and
exchanging good MIDI files for the Disklavier.

Here is the address of Chapell of Bond Street:

ACOUSTIC / PIANO DEPARTMENT

If that lead is no good, try posting your request on DUG.

I believe you can join DUG by following these instructions:

in body of message put txt "subscribe dug <your email>"

Good luck with your repair.
