I was wondering if there were any upgrades or any related news to the
Disklavier announced at the Namm show. Jeff

Not really.

One 50% acrylic DK grand on display ... as a consumer item not as
a prototype.  An interesting silent steel string guitar for $900,
a new guitar effects box (UD-stompt) that replaces DG-Stomp.
Lots of emphasis on TYPROS music workstation/keyboard/synth that
shows strong euro influence in its design and working for Euro
song crafting ...but adapted quite nicely to music production for
USA. New DT Express II MIDI drum kit with more sensitivity on the
drum pads (3 assigned areas on snare pad for example)

Word from DK product managers at NAMM is that there are about
500+ CDs already produced for PianoSmart SoftTouch series ...
looks very committed and very targeted to baby boomers and later.
Also one prod mgr when questioned stated there are 12,000-15,000
DKs in USA.
