[disklavier] Well. . .

[disklavier] Well. . .

2000-02-18 by Diane Rebbec

I just wanted to establish some sort of human contact--to make sure
that I really was accepted, and indeed there was activity on this site.

Too bad, though, that I've just had a couple of glasses of wine, before
dinner, and am not my usual self.

The upshot, though, is that I'm disappointed with my Disklavier. I
know, I know, it's blasphemous. But the fact is, for $30,000, the
thing ought to be easier to operate. And to make matters worse, it
won't do the things my dealer told me it would.

Ergo, I'm disappointed. And I need to vent.

Diane, As someone sitting on the sidelines I'd love to know what things it does not do.

Thanks,

Michael

Dinycat- I would be interested in knowing what your dealer represented
to you that the Disklavier would do that doesn't.

To those other members, I would be interested to know what was
represented to you about the ability to access the "XG" sounds.
