Email change

2003-04-27 by Todd Muncy

I have discontinued using disklavier@... as my personal
email address. If any members have me in their address books under that
address, they should change it to disklavier-owner@yahoogroups.com.
That address will always forward to me no matter how many times I change
my actual personal address. This is only for private mail to me alone.
The group email address remains disklavier@yahoogroups.com.

The good news is I have reduced my incoming spam from 150/day to zero.
It feels great.

Has there been a problem with the email on the list lately? My next to the
last post took several days and my latest reply to the list from several
days ago has yet to hit the list.

RE: [disklavier] Email change

2003-04-28 by Todd Muncy

I'm not aware of a problem, but that doesn't mean there isn't one. My
emails received from the group all match up with the postings shown on
the website. The last message from you is dated 4/24 at 5:12pm with the
subject "Re: [disklavier] Re: difference in CD and floppy drives". I
have noticed that emails sometimes pass through immediately, while at
other times there is a little delay (but not days). It's possible that
some system maintenance or other activity could cause a message to get
lost occasionally. You're probably using an address book, but if you
are manually typing the group address, a typo is another possibility.

Has anyone else noticed a problem like this? There was a 3 day period
4/24 5:12pm to 4/27 1:13pm with no messages, which is a little unusual,
but not unheard of.
