Terry's Piano Rolls - Shortcut
2003-06-01 by ralph_specht
As most of you have discovered, Terry's Piano Rolls are great.
My current process for converting to a disk for my Disklavier, is as
follows:
1) UnZip the batch files to a directory on my PC.
2) Use MID2ESEQ (Shareware on this site) to convert to ESEQ.
Long filenames are lost.
3) Move the ESEQ (.FIL) files to Floppy.
4) Use EExoplore (Shareware on this site), which allows me to
sequence the play of the songs, as well as retype the song titles,
which were contained in the long filenames which Terry provided.
5) Type a list of the titles and create a label.
As you can guess, is there any way to do this automatically, while
moving the long filenames to the title field, and then to create
a .DOC or .TXT file to print the labels.
I thought someone out there would have the technical expertise to
assist us all in the preservation of this invaluable set of music.
Thanks.
