My old 1990 disklavier stop playing the keys when I insert the disk. The disk drive seems to be working fine but the keys will not play. I did not get any warning that something may have been going bad. Can this be fixed?

Try resetting the control box - I had the same problem and this cured the problem. You can reset it via the menus. Hope this helps Gary
