Sensor Unconnected

2004-02-06 by stewholveck@aol.com

Good Morning

I have been having trouble playing playing midi files on my GranTouch. These
have been playing perfectly since I bought the DK in 1998. Now only PianoSoft
disks and DD disks will play on the DK. When I try to play the HD disks the
message reads sensor unconnected or unformatted disk. Anyone have any
suggestions as to what the problem is?

Try doing a Reset. Press Function, then use the cursor
to find Reset. Static electricity due to dryness in
homes this time of year can do strange things. You can
try unplugging the unit from the wall for about 1
minute as well. If this does not work, there are other
things to try. BTW, you have not moved the unit
lately?

Hi Carol

Thanks for your suggestions-I had already tried unplugging the unit and also
tried the reset but it didn't help. Last night one of the disks did play but
when I took it out and put it back in the dk said sensor unconnected. The dk
has not been moved since I bought it six years ago. Any other suggestions?

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
