Email problems with Yahoo

Email problems with Yahoo

2004-03-16 by Peter Phillips

Hi All
Roger mentions a problem I recently encountered with emails from Yahoo
interest groups. I belong to three (all related to pianos), and wondered a
few weeks ago why I was not getting any emails from any of the groups.

I then sent an email to this group, only to find it bounced back, with a
brief message from Yahoo. I followed it through, ending up with this message:

"Recently, messages sent to you from Yahoo! Groups have been returned to us
as undeliverable. To prevent any problems with your email service, we have
temporarily turned your Yahoo! Groups account OFF. To turn your Yahoo!
Groups account ON:

- Please REPLY to this message. Send that reply back to us without
changing anything.
OR
- While connected to the Internet, click on the following Web link (or
copy and paste it into your Web browser and hit the RETURN key):

http://groups.yahoo.com/unbounce?adj=31166966,44491&p=1078636871

Once we get a response from you, we will turn your Yahoo! Groups
account back ON, and you will begin to receive messages from your
groups again."

I have no idea why this happened, but I'm pleased to say messages are now
arriving and I can get my daily fix...
