It depends on what kind of music you are after. For classical files you 
could try the classical archives - http://www.classicalarchives.com/ (also 
available through its old URL http://www.prs.net). 

For jazz then Doug McKenzie's site is an excellent resource - try

If you are after more contemporary music then you can buy and download 
music from a number of vendors, such as http://www.tune1000.com. 

For old piano rolls there are number of resources - Terry Smythe has spent 
a great deal of time scanning in his player piano rolls and making them 
available to everyone as midi files. These can be downloaded from his site 
http://members.shaw.ca/smythe/rebirth.htm. Spencer Chase has done 
similar work (and is one of the pioneers of the technique), and sells 
collections of his scans on CD. These are available through his website 
http://www.spencerserolls.com

You probably already know about Yamaha's Pianosoft series, and it is 
possible to download most titles in the catalogue through the Yamaha 
website - http://www.yamahamusicsoft.com. 

It is also possible to play some software designed for the Pianodisc 
system on the disklavier - http://www.pianodisc.com/emusic/index1.asp (be 
aware most (all?) of these come on CD, so you need either a MarkIII 
disklavier, or an older model with the DCD1).

If you playback any music other than Yamaha Pianosoft titles, you may need 
to play around with volume and balance, or even alter the midi file itself 
(check the message archive for details on tools that can do that, 
specifically messages from Spencer Chase. The tool is available from his
