Does anyone have Holloween files. I want to have the Disklavier
playing while handing out candy at the door.

There are several Yamaha PianoSoft versions of the Phantom of Opera, if
that's what you're looking for. Also check
http://rats2u.com/halloween/halloween_midi.htm

I'm not sure how your DKV will hand out the candy though, but good luck
anyway!

Saint Saen's "Danse Macabre" is excellent for this purpose. I also
recommend the "Addam's Family" theme. I'll have to dig those up on my home
computer, but you can look them up online pretty easily.

To get the most spooky effect out of the DKV, record yourself playing
something simple like "Three Blind Mice" using one unsteady finger. This
will sound much less like a performance and a little more like an unseen
"guest". Hide the remote well.

I did this last year. I went on a hunt for a bunch of halloween
music (in MIDI format). I modified a bunch of them so that
the "main" part would be piano, but not much more than that. Some
of them sound good and some of them don't.

I'll try to find them and "zip" them up. When I do, I'll post here
again and maybe we can put them in the database until after
halloween (they're probably not good enough to keep longer than
that).

Thanks for the help. I do not know how to play though. Just got Thursday. 34 with no lessons yet.
