Disklavier

I just found this discussion group and have already been amazed at  
the wealth of knowledge among its members, so I'm keeping my fingers  
crossed someone can help me!

I recently purchased a used "gray market" MX100MR.  (Based on its  
serial number, it was built in Japan in 1989 or 1990.)  I did so  
knowingly because the instrument alone is worth the price I paid for  
it - it's practically brand new - and I viewed the Disklavier system  
basically as a freebie.

Problem is, since it's a Japanese market piano, the face plate is in  
Japanese, the display menus are in Japanese, and I don't have an  
English language manual.  (The person I bought it from had no  
documentation at all.)  Yamaha Japan, while very nice, said they  
simply don't have an English language manual for this model, and  
Yamaha U.S., since it's a gray market piano, refused to talk to me at  
all.

Does anyone have English language documentation for the Disklavier  
unit in a piano of this vintage that might allow me to figure out how  
to operate it?  I would be mostly interested in moving data in and  
out of the Disklavier via the MIDI ports, as I write music on the  
computer (on a Mac OS X system), rather than recording to and playing  
from the internal disk drive.

Also, anyone know if the Disklavier firmware can be changed so that  
the display menus read in English?

Finally, any recommendations for great Disklavier technicians in the  
Los Angeles area (I'm in Venice) in case I want to have someone do  
routine maintenance on the unit?
