Can someone tell me how to clean the piano. I have the silicone mit
but someone put furniture polish on it. I need to get it off. Any
ideas are appreciated.

Dawn detergent does a pretty good job of getting stuff off. (the mitt of
course, not the piano!)

Don't use silicone....

For a lacquerer finish:

Windex works fine for fingerprints and smudges

McGuires swirl mark remover (Contain no wax or silicone)

3M fine cut for deeper scratches

This is polyester, not lacquer. The best way to clean
the piano finish is to use an old but clean Tshirt with
just a little bit of water. If you need something
stronger, put a little bit of Windex on the Tshirt and
clean the piano that way. Never use furniture polish
or silicon products. For dusting the piano, I use a
Swiffer dry cloth (same as I use on my hardwood floor).
