Looking for information about DKV Mark 4 System
2006-02-28 by Claude Renaud
Hi all, I'm still looking for possible solutions solving blind DKV accessibility... Could someone tell me more about the Mark IV : where could I find info about DKV Mark IV models ? What differentiate a Mark IV from a Mark III ? As far as I remember, I believe having read on the dug lists, that Mark IV can be "driven" thank to a Pocket PC device. Could someone, an Mark IV owner, tell me on which operating system those models are based on ? Are Mark IV only available for grand pianos ? IS there a chance to have this technology for upright pianos ? And the more important, it would be interesting if a Yamaha staff member could tell us, if there is a chance for having those Mark IV, and particularly the Pocket Device driving that kind of system, in case it is currently not the case, to have one based on windows mobile operating system in the future ? (I know that linux solutions are cheaper but unfortunately I talk about windows mobile because nowaday it is the only platform which is accessible for us...) This latest question is very important because currently there are several software which permit us to have a screen reader solution on a windows mobile pocket pc device ... so a windows mobile based dkv could permit us to access and play with that kind of instruments as sighted can currently do ... Thank very much to people who respond to me ... (it is for me but also for the DKV blind pianist community ...) -- Greetings, Claude Renaud Skype : Name : renaud_claude Number : 0870 445 179 The Bat! 3.71.03 running on Windows XP 5.1 Build 2600 Service Pack 2
