Disklavier Mark IV version 2.0

Disklavier Mark IV version 2.0

2007-01-25 by Bill Brandom

On January 5th, I announced information about version 2.0 that will be coming in the spring. At that time, I asked Mark IV owners if they would be interested in being beta testers for this new version. I am re-submitting my email because we are looking for a few more beta testers for this important Mark IV update. Please read the email below and respond accordingly,

I will be contacting all of you that have expressed an interest in being a beta tester in the next couple of days.

As far as I am concerned, this is the most important update we have offered for the Mark IV series Disklavier piano. I am really looking forward to it. Here is a chance to give it a try.

In exchange, we will ask you to fill out a couple of questionnaires that will be sent to you during this period that will help us work out any “bugs” that may exist with the software.

If you are interested in becoming a Version 2.0 Beta tester, please go to URL http://clicktools.com/survey?iv=b410fefc9cfe01c and complete the short questionnaire. If you are chosen to be a Beta tester, we shall use this information to mail you a Beta update pack.

RE: [disklavier] Disklavier Mark IV version 2.0

2007-01-25 by Aaron Zornes

Any news on hard drive upgrades or ability to add external USB 2.0 drives
(say laptop size 100-200GB drives)?

Or to connect to shared storage or file servers on our in-home network? We
have most of our MIDI & Yamaha collections on other devices that the Mark
III. We found the internal hard disk drive of the Mark IV underwhelming so
far.

THANKS.
