Re: Trading Discs

Re: Trading Discs

2000-12-13 by Roger Isaacs

Our company has developed an internet trading site for discs which will be
going live in the next month. The site's initial focus is DVD movies but we
also have DreamCast game and PianoDisc CD sections built in. Obviously DVD
movies is intended to be the money maker - my interest in piano music
motivated me to have the PianoDisc CD section coded. I wasn't sure if there
would be enough interest to make maintaining the section worthwhile but I
knew that I have wished for a way to trade my "familiar discs" for ones I
hadn't heard. The way the site is structured every disc has a "used price"
and you can either buy or sell that title at that price. The cost is a
couple of buck trade-in fee per disk. I haven't found anyone else doing
this for piano discs myself - interested in the group's feedback.
