Floppy Disk Replacement

2007-02-19 by ralph_specht

Does Yamaha offer a service to replace/restore a Yamaha floppy disk
that is unreadable? I have a Yamaha disk that has a single unreadable
file. All the other files appear to be intact.

Yamaha software department is very helpful with this. You only need to send your broken disk to

Yamaha Corporation of America
Attn: Jim Leahy/Software
6600 Orangethorpe Ave
Buena Park, CA 90620

Make sure you tell them what model of disklavier you have, because sometimes two disks of the same title might have been produced for different generations of products.

Best regards,

Shana

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
