hi fellow dug,

i bought several pianosoft disks and i would like to backup these 
disks. is there a way to do this? thanks

Download Dkvutils from the utility directory of the vault. This suite of utilities includes dkvcopy which will make backup copies. You can also read the copy (unlike the original) and then transfer the files to a folder on your hard drive. The files are small, so it's not a big deal to keep them all there.
Read the included instructions carefully. You will need at least one 720K formatted floppy to receive the copy and dkvcopy will not work in a dos window. You must boot directly to dos to use it. I put a copy of it on a bootable floppy and put it in the autoexec.bat file. Just stick in the floppy and reboot. Reboot when done.
