Ampico reproducing roll MIDIs

Ampico reproducing roll MIDIs

2008-02-20 by Chip

I recently found several videos on YouTube with a theater organist
named Jim Riggs playing an organ as a duet with a Steinway PianoDisc
piano. There are six duets and I love the sound of the arrangements
from the PianoDisc, which were taken from old Ampico reproducing
rolls. The rolls were mostly played by Vincent Lopez and some of the
titles were: "June Night," "Singing In The Rain," "Home In
Pasadena," "Hello Bluebird," and "I Want To Be Happy." I looked in the
PianoDisc catalog and can't find these files. I would love to be able
to play these arrangements on my Yamaha. Since the songs were played
on the Steinway/PianoDisc while Jim Riggs played the organ, there must
be a version available somewhere. Can anyone help? Thanks.

Check out Spencer Chase's MIDI files for the selections you want.
