organizing the E-Comp files
2008-09-28 by Spencer_Lists
Greetings Disklavier, I have made MP3 files of the E-Comp MIDIS from 2002 2003 and 2004. I have added MP3 tags for title performer composer and date so that they display properly in Itunes or some other MP3 players. This makes it easy to select what you want to hear from either the player or from a folder with the relevant fields set to display. The batch of file is too large to share easily unless someone knows of a sensible way. It amounts to about 6 gigs. I can share the program that adds the titles along with the text file containing the information for each title. You would have to use Mark Fontana's Mid2PianoCD to create WAV files and then convert them to MP3 and run the program to add the tags. The text list can also be used to add text to MIDI files that will display in players such as VanBasco's player. For that you would need to use my titling program. The folder of titled MIDI files is much smaller, about 66 megs so that is easier to share if anyone wants it. -- Best regards, Spencer_Lists Chase mailto:lists@... 67550 Bell Springs Rd.
