Can anyone help with this ? I can record into the mac but cannot get the piano to play from the computer. I am using Garage Band on Leopard. Is their something simple that I am missing? Thank you.

There is a utility in the Applications folder called Audio MIDI setup. Make sure your MIDI interface is selected as the output. Also, the piano will play MIDI data only on channels 1 and 2. Carol Beigel

Good afternoon, everyone. GarageBand does not natively play MIDI back using external MIDI devices (like your the Disklavier). Instead, it directs the MIDI data to internal sounds that come with the program. However, you can try this 3rd party plugin that purports to send MIDI externally: http://www.versiontracker.com/dyn/moreinfo/macosx/23227 Regards, PianoBench www.georgelitterst.com www.timewarptech.com
