How do you do that, short of using this piece of expensive
($300+) MIDI convertor hardware call the MIDIMAN Tape Recorder
Interface?

I think the key is that the midi information has to be converted
to "analog midi" information. Once you do that I think you will
find that the piano will read the disc.
