Disklavier

HELP!!

We have a Midi XG Disklavier and are having problems using the Midi 
files in the files seciton.  If we download a .FIL file  . . .they 
work just fine.  If we download any .mid files the disklavier gives 
us an error message.

We do not get any options when pushing the <Function> button in order 
to try to convert the files.

We do not have a Midi Sequencer and are not sure what this is and if 
we even need  . . . . please advise!!

What model Disklavier do you have?
