[disklavier] DKC-850 and Smart PianoSoft titles

Speaking of replacing the original Mark IIXG control unit and DCD1 with a DKC-850 - since DKC-850 does not have a built-in floppy drive, does it not play the "Smart PianoSoft" titles unless we purchase an add-on floppy drive? If we rip "Smart PianoSoft" floppies to USB drive, can the DKC-850 still sync them to the audio CD?

Just thinking out loud since I'm still only half-convinced to make the very costly purchase of a DKC-850. Thanks in advance for your insights.

Yes, you can transfer the Smart Piano soft FD to a thumb drive, or to a spot on t DFhe internal DKC-830 memory. It will sync with the CD's just as on FD. I just tried it. Dave
