New version may be coming out. Version 1.1 showed up on my Update list but then disappeared. Now the Disklavier Controller is not on the (US) iTunes Store. Keep your eyes open! http://appshopper.com/utilities/disklavier-controller :-)

This has me really intrigued. It currently only works with the MarkIV (because it uses the same wireless network as the MarkIV's remote). If it is extended to the E3, that would mean that the E3 has some control protocol exposed via it's network port (unlikely to be wireless, but still...) And, if that's the case, I should be able to tap into the same thing with DKVBrowser... Bill, any public details about this control protocol? Thanks. -Kevin ________________________________

Ah, disregard at least part of my previous email...the iPhone app isn't pretending to be the wireless remote...it's using the same protocol as DKVBrowser via the wired port... But...the question remains...what interface is exposed by the E3? ________________________________

Gosh I was glad to see you guys talking about this. Just noticed it was not showing up in the USA app store a few days ago and that it is still listed in my update list. It seems to be preventing me from doing an Update All for my iPhone/iPad updates - all at once. So I continue to click on each update separately which is time consuming. If anyone on the list has an E3 model disklavier, is deeply technically savvy, and wants to assist me in figuring out if getting DKVBrowser to talk to those models is remotely possible... please contact me off the list. I'd like to get you a version of DKVBrowser with some debugging turned on so we can see if the piano is even listening to us. It works. Click on "piano search' to select your piano again. Playing a midi from my to/from folder now. Sounds good. One thing that I just noticed, if you play one of the radio channels and mute the song playing, and then leave to another Source, such as a playlist there is no play button to start playing the playlist. I have a dc3a and a mac mini. If I were to add wireless mini functionality to my piano and mac mini, could I play itunes songs through my piano?
