Pianosync discs -- do they play in a disklavier?

Pianosync discs -- do they play in a disklavier?

2010-12-12 by uhhmmmmmmmmmm

I see that Pianodisc has a pianosync creator software that merges commercial music CDs with player piano parts. Sounds like their solution to yamaha's smart technology. Does anyone know if these pianosync discs will play on a disklavier mark iii system? Thanks.

Tracks produced by this software include PianoDisc's "Silent Drive Plus"
scheme of overlaid garbage notes intended to prevent playback on
competitors' systems. They also include a small technical change to the
format that made PianoDisc streams incompatible with the Disklavier
after about 2005 (definitely unplayable by the Mark III and DCD-1).

As far as I can tell, Yamaha never updated the Mark III or DCD-1 to
handle either of these changes. I'd be interested to hear whether the
DKC-850 or latest Mark IV software are able to play these streams
properly.
