Good web sites for MIDIs
2001-06-21 by Carol Beigel
I came across a message in this group's archives that mentioned that most of the files in the vault are contributed by only a few people. I havent' figured out how to edit properly some of the great MIDIs I am getting my friends and family to produce on my new DKV let alone upload them to this site. Someday! In the meantime, I could contribute the addresses of three web sites that I have enjoyed their music. The first is Spencers Piano Rolls. He is converting old player piano rolls to MIDI files, and sells an incredible collection of them. For free, you can download the following from his web site. Definitely worth listening to! http://nt.mcn.org/spencer Mendelssohn's Fingal's Cave Overture, Played by Hutcheson & Ganz Saint-Saens Piano Concerto inG Minor 3rd. mvt., played by Harold Bauer TheWedding of the Painted Dolls, played by Pauline Alpert Someone to Watch Over Me (Gershwin), played by Phil Ohman Moonlight Over the Lakes by Gordon Isles The second site was recommended to me by another member of this group. Go to the bottom of San Diego Plastics web page to find the Jukebox at www.sdplastics.com And don't forget the free Yamaha website for all kinds of DKV files, www.globaljukebox.com This is also a very good site to promote young artists who have not made the big time yet! Happy listening! Carol Beigel _________________________________________________________________ Get your FREE download of MSN Explorer at http://explorer.msn.com
