playlist software

2011-05-14 by Carrie

Hello everyone. I have an mx100II with TG100 tone generator. I have successfully hooked up my computer through a midi to usb cable and am enjoying playing thousands of midi files from online and this group.

I am looking for a simple program that will allow me to make a playlist and play several songs from my computer adding and removing from the list as I choose. Do you have any recommendations? Right now I am using mighty midi. I like the simplicity of it, but I can only open and play one song at a time.

Thank you.

VanBascos Karaoke player is simple free and allows playlist creation saving and playing. if you want to go really sophisticated, get Media Monkey and the MID and database plugins. this is the best and makes Itunes look like the bloated worthless crap that it is. to get it working with MIDI files and adding metadata is fairly complicated so start with VB then, when you have 50,000 MIDI and audio files that you want instant access to, get Media Monkey.

Use parallels and install windows in it.

A short message from my iPhone4 (my fat fingered typing sucks)

has anyone run Media Monkey under Parallels? We have a Mac with
Parallels and Win 7 but it is not available to me for testing for a
couple of months. Would like to know. There are a lot of people wishing
there were a Mac version of MM. not everyone likes Itunes, especially
once they see MM.

i play my LX player pianos with MM and also use it for my digital music
file serving.
