Floppy Disk Requirement for Midi?

Floppy Disk Requirement for Midi?

2012-04-10 by JasonJSimon

I am getting a MX100B delivered to my home today. I'm looking forward to using the disklavier to play midi files. I think I might have read somewhere that a floppy disk needed to be inserted in the floppy drive in order to use the midi input. Is this true? If so, I guess I better see if I can find one. I threw away my last floppy disks years ago.

There are USB Floppies mentioned in threads here in prior times. They run about $50.

Mine worked well with DKC 850 Disklavier.

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
