DKC-850 floppy drive

DKC-850 floppy drive

2012-05-09 by Chris Domres

Yamaha sells an optional universal floppy drive that plugs into the USB
port on the DKC-850. They are very expensive. Does anyone know if a
standard PC computer floppy drive that plugs into a USB port will also
work?

Most USB drives will not work, due to the protection Yamaha puts on the files.

We have found that most LaCie USB drives have worked with the E3 and DKC-850.

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
