FWIW, I'm working on some Elektron librarian software that will eventually allow pattern editing. The main focus is to allow you to archive all of your old songs, patterns and kits and then pick and choose from several archives to construct the MD (and eventually MnM) memory however you choose. It will also allow you to place several songs into one song for better live playback. And eventually it will allow you to edit your songs, patterns and kits from within the software. Though this isn't the focus; so that functionality will be last to be implemented. Currently, you can only view the contents of patterns/songs/kits. Oh and it will run on Mac OS X, Windows and Linux! Though there is, of course, a tradeoff. The interface is not nearly as beautiful as Andrew's; it's much more generic. And there will likely not be direct MIDI transfer support; you'll have to use a Sysex transfer tool and then load the file in my software. Anyway, it's coming along; I'll make more announcements when there's something to show/test. [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]
