Bugfixes -------- When pressing enter to set a new row in song mode the pattern position was not set to the beginning of the pattern as it should. Fixed. Notes from the MIDI Machines could be played at a note position +/-1 semi note from its correct position. Fixed. When pressing stop and in pattern chain mode, the chain would either be cleared or the wrong pattern was loaded. The chain was not restarted as it should be. Fixed. When entering realtime rec on a track with notes programmed and previously having turned an encoder a lock could be programmed on the first note although no encoder was turned during realtime rec. Fixed. When setting a lock on the CTR-AL or CRT-8P machines the kit value was changed along with the lock, only the lock should have be set. Fixed. If pattern length was set in stop or a position before the new end position the length was not updated on the first looping. Fixed. When receiving a MIDI Start in Song Mode the first beat didnĂt play. Fixed. When sending Global Slot via sysex with certain settings the sysex would give an error 2 on receiving or verifying. This bug surfaced on os 1.19. Fixed. ------------------------ * Previous update info * ------------------------ List of changes from Machinedrum SPS-1 OS 1.19 to 1.19c ------------------------------------------------------ Updates ------- When a mute is pending with function held in mute mode parameter changes for all tracks (inverted digits) is not active. The LFO are disabled for tracks with CTR-AL & CTR-8P machines. Since it cannot be fully controlled. Though you can still use an LFO from another track to control the CRT-AL & CRT-8P machines. The parameters NOTE, N2, N3, LEN and VEL in the MIDI machines are now controllable by the LFO. Bugfixes -------- Corrupted midi note off messages was sent when a midi machine was played from the trig keys. Fixed. The graphics for CTR-8P in song mode on page 2 and 3 was not correct. Fixed. When playing in double speed (scale 2x) notes on even position was not replayed correctly. Fixed. When a CTR-AL or CTR-8P machine was loaded on a track where the LFO depth was not 0 the values changed immediately on load. When the LFO was disabled for the CTR-AL and CTR-8P it was, Fixed. (NOTE! If you have an LFO from another track set to the one you change to the CTR-AL/CTR-8P you may still have changes happening.) When copying a pattern the individual accent/swing/slide settings was not copied. Fixed. It was not possible to copy from an individual accent/swing/slide track. Fixed. It was not possible to paste to an individual accent/swing/slide track. Fixed. When changing scale from 16 to 32 the individual accent/swing/slide tracks was not duplicated as the other tracks from position 1-16 to positions 17-32. Fixed. When pressing stop pending MIDI note offs from the MIDI machines was not sent. Fixed. When starting a song and having manually changed the tempo the first beat was played at the wrong tempo. Fixed. When staring a song from in the middle of a looped pattern from an external sequencer and the Machinedrum was in stop the loop counter was incorrectly set. Fixed. When in song mode and positioned at a row and in stop and then started Machinedrum sent MIDI Start When it should have sent MIDI Continue. Fixed. When pressing stop in song mode a MIDI song pointer position need always to be sent, but it was not done. Fixed. MIDI Song Pointer Position, MIDI Start, MIDI Continue was not always sent correctly from Song Mode when pressing stop and when pressing yes to change row and in play. Fixed. When changing tempo and using swing the timing might get messed up. Fixed. When using locks and swing some locks could get lost. Fixed. List of changes from Machinedrum SPS-1 OS 1.12 to 1.19 ------------------------------------------------------ Updates ------- -- Holding Function while turning an encoder relatively changes this parameter for all 16 tracks. Indicated by the number under the encoder being inverted. -- Index in bars and beats added to the song window for easier synchronisation with other sequencers, such as the Monomachine. -- If the global-midi-base channel is turned below '1-4' it goes to '--', eliminating track-oriented send and receive for all MIDI channels. System common and System realtime MIDI messages (such as MIDI timing and MIDI synchronization) are not affected. -- New group in global-midi-map editor 'ctrl' for assigning notes to pattern start and stop. -- New table in global-midi-map editor 'trig' for controlling the functionality of pattern MIDI trigging. -- Indication of the currently selected pattern when holding one of the bank buttons illustrated by a double lock blink. (blink-blink ... ... blink-blink). -- DJ-tempo: Pressing left/right arrow key temporarily decreases/increases the tempo by up to 10%. -- Copy/clear/paste added in kit load/save lists. -- Mini-star added after kits that are not used by any pattern. -- Tap tempo algorithm improved. -- Song mutes, offset and length are temporary remembered when exiting song mode until stop is pressed or a new pattern is selected. -- New machines group, CTR, with machines CTR-AL and CTR-8P: * CTR-AL Parameter changes are duplicated as relative changes to ALL other tracks. Trigs have no direct effect, but can be used to hold locks. Changes are permanent to the destination parameters. The function of CTR-AL is the same as holding function while turning, but can be used for adding parameter locks for all tracks. * CTR-8P Changes 8 Parameters from any track and page controlled from the synthesis page and selected with the effects and routing pages. Trigs have no direct effect, but can be used to hold locks. Please note that changes are permanent to the destination parameters for all CTR machines. -- Edit Accent, Swing and Slide either for all tracks or for each separate track. Select ALL or T:XX in the edit window. -- MIDI Program Change now changes pattern, not kit. -- Separate selection for tempo and control in and out in the global slot. -- The Early Boot Menu is updated to allow for upgrading from one Machinedrum to another. Share the latest OS with your friends, no computer needed, just a MIDI cable. Bugfixes -------- Song-slot remembered incorrectly. Fixed. The famous mute-bug in song mode. If the scale setup was set to the second part of the pattern the song mutes can't be changed. Fixed. Clear track undo doesn't work. Fixed. Parameter locks error with linked machines. Fixed. When changing speed, depth or shmix, the LFO-menu and exiting to the routing page the parameters were not updated correctly. Fixed. When playing short notes with the MIDI machines and using swing the note offs could be forgotten. Fixed. MIDI machines send too much MIDI. MW, PB, PC and CC's should only be sent when the value actually has changed. Fixed. The first note sent from MIDI machines when in song mode was duplicated. Fixed. Manual mutes of MIDI machines did not occur simultaneously with muting of internal tracks. Fixed. MIDI note off as 0x80 was not recognized, sorry for that. Fixed. Inconsequent display of pattern looping in song mode. Fixed. The sound selection LED's did not always correctly show what notes was played. Fixed. Pressing any of the bank buttons or trying to do a copy/paste/clear when in play and having opened the MIDI map editor resulted in very strange behaviour. Fixed. Copy and paste of single notes with function held down could lead to the Machinedrum behaving strangely. (Please note there is no need to actually hold function to copy or paste a single note, just holding the trig button and pressing the appropriate copy/clear/past button will do). Fixed. The octave nr was not displayed correctly in the global slot-midi-map editor. Fixed. If releasing the bank button before the trig button when selecting a pattern in non record mode, and then selecting multiple patterns with the same bank button pressed pattern chaining could occur when it shouldn't. Fixed. After pressing a pattern bank button while the one hand pattern section counter was visible only one pattern could be selected as long as the pattern bank button was pressed. Fixed. When pressing stop the sent MIDI Timing Clock could be disturbed. A device using Machinedrum as master clock would fluctuate in tempo. Fixed. Various MIDI timing problems where resolved. When receiving song pointer position and in song mode and on a row with repeat and receiving a continue the song would be played back incorrectly. Fixed.
