Wondering if anyone could shed some light on something that was puzzling me on the MD last night. Here is the setup:- MD running to External Clock Tempo and Control Starts/Stops and keeps perfect sync. I needed the MD to match the swing of a prerecorded sequence so I had the global swing set to 64% which was as close as I could get by ear. First odd thing: while the MD was running in sync - if I reduced the global Swing value to 50% (ie: no swing at all) the pattern was still bouncing away quite happilly instead of returning to a straight 16th feel. The only way I could 're-set' the swing value was to pull up the Swing Window and individually switch off and back on each swing step. While in external sync and playing it seemed adjusting the Swing value had no effect at all. It was only when I stopped the external master clock, then set the swing value on the MD and re- start the master that what seemed like the correct swing value was applied. The issue I had with this is that I needed to adjust the MD swing in real-time against the pre-recorded material to get the feel right. Am I missing something simple or is this a bug/limitation? Cheers. David
