About DUMPS =========== I have had the Quasimidi 309 since 1997 and my best way to do DUMPS without trouble has been midi dumps. No trouble, work fine. I do it by Cubase. Don't forget to put on the sysex Thru filter not to have echoes of the messages. Also, for the operation, i deactivate midi thru fonction. I haven't try the procedure with the SID but I think it work the same way. I have also MidiOX for *.syx files but i don't use it. In the next days, i will send you the results with the Sidstation. Have fun. ----- Original Message ----- From: <teomi@...> To: <elektron-users@yahoogroups.com> Sent: Friday, February 23, 2001 9:50 PM Subject: [elektron] sysex trouble with SidStation > > Hey all. > I was working on a table sound on the SidStation and wanted to dump it as > sysex to save my work. the patch included 3 individual tables...kind of > complex patch. > I tried to dump it using cakewalk whihc worked fine but when trying to send > it back only the first table was ok the rest of my tables settings were all > screwed up. > I tried to send the patch using Midi-OX with the same result, exactly the > same screw up (the second and third tables piches were changed to F00 instead > of the given pitches) > is there a certain setting for the sysex in MIDIOX or cakewalk that i need to > set for complex patches? > > I did try to dump it as a midi file and that did work, but it is much neater > to do dumps...any thoughts? > > thanks in advance, > Eitan Teomi > > http://ourworld.cs.com/teomi > > > [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] > > > > > > Your use of Yahoo!
