Has anyone had a smilliar Depends on what they mean by 'regulator'.. There are chips called 'voltage regulators' that take in DC power (like 9V or so) and turn it into something clean and usable by the surrounding hardware -- like 5V. If that's all it is, the part is cheap. What actually happened? Did it turn on and work for a while and then shut off? Did it never turn on at all? etc... What kind of adapter did you plug into it? Was is DC or AC, what voltage? And what is the voltage of the SID's standard adapter? Mark
