Elektron Musical Instruments

In regards to the UserWave, I have a few questions. I
was wondering how many seconds of sampling time is
there per ROM Machine (like the E-mu SP-1200 has 4 2.5
second banks).  Also, is the sampling time allocated
evenly amongst the ROM Machines or can you blow the
whole time on one machine?  

Also, Can you record...just like any other sampler...
through the Audio Ins of the machine?  Can this be
done into ROM or only into RAM?  If only into RAM, can
you transfer into ROM?  or are you forced to use the
MIDI sample nonsense.  

(As you can tell, I am quite confused.)  Please only
post if you have concrete info, not speculation.
