Re: [elektron] Anybody have their UW yet?

2005-05-30 by Tom McIvor

I've already tried the demo of this program but it doesn't seem to have
what UW users are looking for. Maybe the full version of the program
has this midi dumping available, but i am not about top shell out the
cash for it before knowing it definitely works.

I also have tried using Bias Peak 4. The option for SMDI transmitting
and receiving is there but it will not recognize any connection with
the UW and will not let you send a sample across the midi connection
unless it first recognizes what it is sending to. Bloody annoying.

i'm going to try my friends microkontrol and see if i can get the ball
rolling with that, i think the buldumpr program should work, it looks
perfect for the job, nice and simple but it just wont see any
connections. I have sent an email to the program's creator asking what
the problem could be.

cheers,
Tom
