Patch programming suggestions for laser blasts or something, you can try
the inverted ramp lfo, could be useful for some good zaps, if you need
the lfo to go deeper than it seems to go, you can always add the lfo to
itselfs, just be careful to not get the oscillator's pitch to wrap
around (unless you want that ;)
to get new textures with tables, you can try speeding up the patch synch
to 199hz and getting the tables to play at maximum speed, you can get
some different sounding "waveforms" this way if i remember correctly,
these times around i mostly create less experimental patches since my
current musical project is more, hmm, standard.
as for the sid editor, i never use the computer for music, i like the
sidstation's lcd interface, goes real well when you know how to use it,
each number on the keypad corresponds to a function/parameter so it's
pretty efficient
flame me if this is a bad post, i'm not used to posting here, i mostly
read :P
