Elektron actively work towards fixing their bugs. they beta-test in small circles for months before releasing updates to the public. once doing so, they continue to update as bugs are reported. if the bug can be recreated, you can bet your ass they'll fix it. it's the quirky ones and the ones where people don't remember what they did beforehand that linger. and even in those cases, Elektron will work with you to try to figure out just what you were doing, in hopes of recreating and then fixing it. they want their OS's to be bug free just as much as we do (if not more). > What bothers me most is the 'code of silence' Elektron users share > and follow. Lets face it, if any company released machines with such > problems they would be out of bussiness soon, but Elektron doesnt, > and its something that still makes me wonder why. this is utter bullshit, nothing else. there's no code of silence. and it's unfair of you to point the finger at other users who try their best to help Elektron debug their OS's (rather than just whining that they're not perfect). no matter how much we love these machines, we still spent money on them and we still write music with them and we want them to be the best that they can. so we report any problems that arise and try to be constructive about it, rather than just blaming Elektron.
