Elektron Musical Instruments

I have been having a problem lately with the display on my Monomachine
(keyboard version).  When I power up, the screen flickers (rapidly
from dim to bright) for a few minutes before returning to normal. 

I sent an email to support last week but still no reply (just mailed
again.)  

Does anyone happen to have any suggestions as to how I might try to
solve the problem?  

My MnM is over a year old so i think that means its out of warranty. 
Would Elektron accept it for repair even for a charge?
