Elektron Musical Instruments

I've got a wierd thing occuring when the the md and the mm are being
used together. I'm sure i'm just being a bit thick and it's something
like when i got the md back from upgrade and i thought parameter locks
had stopped working. It took me ages to notice the md was on classic
mode ... but the md definately isn't in classic mode this time :)

I've taken the MD and the MnM out of the studio so they're currently
set up different from normal[1] and whenever they're both on the
parameter locks on the MD aren't having any effect. However turn off
the MnM and the parameter locks immediately have effect and turning
the MnM back on and they stop working again. The base channel on the
MD has been put on 10-13 and the MnM is using channels 1-9 which I
would have thought would stop any conflicts from sent midi data.

Anyone know what's going on? What is the MnM transmitting that's
stopping the parameter locks from working?
For now I've just unplugged the MD midi in but I'd be nice to know
what's going on.

[1]Instead of being plugged into seperate channels on the midi
interface the MnM midi in is connected to the MD out and the MD midi
in is connnected to the MnM out.
