why not use the "reset midi devices" within the midi tab in cubase..save you
unplugging the tm-1..I am the same with you about ditching the TM-1, as mine
has became unrecognisable and works from time to time..

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
