Hi,
When a kit's routing is set for six individual outs and
you're playing a track in poly mode, the notes on the
keyboard cycle through the outputs. Starting on the second C
of the mono keyboard:
Note Output
C F
C# A
D C
Eb B
E E
F F
F# F
G A
G# C
A B
Bb E
B D
C F
C# A
...and so on.
I'll try to answer questions pre-emptively. My multitrig
mode is set to all tracks, and I have no trig positions in
use. There are no arps, transposes, no slides, no swing values. These
shouldn't be related, but sometimes bugs occur in "perfect
storms". I'd be obliged if someone would verify this by
changing the routing to 1X6, editing all tracks to have no
outputs {I don't want any mixing done by the Mono if I'm
trying to apply outboard FX discretely}, and playing in poly
mode.
Surely this isn't by design? If it is, what on earth
purpose can it serve?

Yours,
Niall.
