Elektron Musical Instruments

I don't think you'll get any answer from them. They don't want people to save their money for months if they hesitate to by something right now.

I'm sure Elektron is working on something innovative and new to work in parallele with their existant products.

So if you think to by the monomachine, you should do it right away. In the worst case, they will plan something like an hardware update possibility... like they did for the machinedrum users.

Since the last ten year, I'm in music development and Elektron is maybe the first company I saw taking care of their customer like that. Roland, Yamaha or Clavia.. just moves to a new version. Sometimes the hardware is limited in evolution capacity.

Anyway... thumbs up to Elektron!

So, how far away is Elektron from producing a full-fledged sampler/sequencer

(in the same skin as the current models, but with more memory, and an

SD-card slot?).  I'm guessing 9 mos. before an announcement, but wanted to

see if Daniel might take a gander to relay any future plans for new devices.

It seems natural enough... as sampler with the same groovy sequencer, but

with one or two SD card slots for massive memory options, along with an

enhanced RAM machine-type functionality, and over the top midi-sync'd FX,

freq-shifting, etc.



I don't want to know the details of such a device, but just an ETA. I'm

going to start saving $ now....
