Hi Andy, I think you got kits and patterns a bit mixed there. I guess you're trying to copy patterns, right? It's easy. Just go to the pattern you want to copy from (B04) and make sure you're not in the step record mode (otherwise you'll be copying/pasting tracks instead of patterns). Then hit [FUNC] + [REC] to copy the pattern, and go to the location you want to paste (D12). Then hit [FUNC] + [STOP]. That's it. However, if you want to copy the *kit* as well, then you need to save the kit to another location in the kit memory, and it will become a duplicate. In short: copying patterns is done using the [FUNC] + transport buttons, copying kits is done saving them in other kit slots. - Sampsa On Fri, 03 Aug 2007 05:08:36 +0300, Andy Tolley <airport71@...> wrote: > Hey guys > > I guess I got so comfy with all my kits that I created over a year ago > with my band that I > forgot what I thought was an easy thing to do: > > HOW do I take one kit from - say B04 and copy it to a new empty location > - say D12 ???? > > I have copied the pattern, and it says "KIT COPIED" or whatever, then > tried to paste it in the > new locale, but nothing.
