mmmhhh,midi-clock is not always late as you state ... I have a TB303 (midi-synced),Juno60 (arp's synced),Jupiter8 (ARP+LFO synced to midi);TR606,707,808,909... ALL ROCK-SOLID and midi-clock ultratight....and ofcourse my MONOMACHINE .... Well,it syncs ok but the other studio-stuff syncs better...I still use ATARI ST..ROCK-SOLID timing :-) Options are : Buy an Atari ST,just place it out-of-sight if you're embarrased by it (I'm not I have 3 ) :-) Use it as master, slave your LOGIC PC to it and presto, rock solid midi timing like you've never heard before OR buy a dedicated timing device (like rosetta or this thing called BIG BEN)...It's incredible how your music's quality gets higher if using a dedicated timing controller...Ok,it's not audio BUT your quality increases enormesly as every midi-track is so much tighter...You have to hear it to believe it!!! OR....have you tried ELEKTRON's TURBO-MIDI kit? Maybe this will solve MIDI-CLOCK issues? Chheeeerrsss,Tim wELLENS aka Club Filth ... PS:ELEKTRON,please release something new :-) To: elektron-users@yahoogroups.comFrom: rydan@...: Tue, 18 Mar 2008 14:41:17 +0100Subject: Re: [elektron] Problems with external sync I've always had trouble using a midi note to trigger patterns in sync. It's pretty obvious really. If the note is on the beat, when the sequencer sends the note, it's already late...I generally run Live as a master, tweak the midi clock timing for the MD port until it's as good as it gets, and then send ProgramChange to switch patterns. (or, actually, usually I just record back to audio, and switch manually from the MD front panel)./Patrikwww.cutpaste.orgM-.-n wrote:> > > Midi clock and accuracy are kind of always trouble.
