Re: Problems with external sync

2008-03-26 by nathan germick

Hi,
How do you map the MD Transport to control Live's transport? It seems
pretty straight forward, but I can't get it to work. I have CTRL Out
enabled on the MD. And my MIDI interface is seeing the START message.
But I can't get Live to respond. I can trigger the transport via other
MIDI events (note on, etc.) but I can't get MD's play button to start
Live. I apologize in advance if I'm missing something obvious, I just
got Live yesterday...
Thanks,
Nathan
